Procol Harum and more for IOW

'60s stargazers, Procol Harum, and '80s journeymen, The Proclaimers, have been confirmed for the now sold-out Isle Of Wight festival, joining headliners The Prodigy, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and more...

Procol Harum, best known for their number one hit 'Whiter Shade Of Pale', join Sundays bill, while The Proclaimers will be performing hits such as 'A Letter From America' on the Saturday.

Winners of the festival's high school 'battle of the bands' competions Skyline Heroes are also confirmed for Saturday's main stage and will open the day's entertainment.

Other acts confirmed for the June festival include Editors, Dirty Pretty Things, Primal Scream, Placebo, Goldfrapp , Richard Ashcroft, Lou Reed, and The Rakes.

The Isle Of Wight Festival takes place on 9-11 June at Seaclose Park, nr Newport, Isle Of Wight. The festival is totally sold out.
