Back for its third year, Carling Live 24 will once again be getting music fans geared
up for the arduous festival season ahead with 24 hours of near-non-stop music across the capital.
The all-night
and all-next-dayer kicks off at 7pm on Friday, 28 April, at Brixton Academy and then takes in another
six London venues before finishing up in Shepherd's Bush Empire at 7pm on the Saturday.
Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight,
Ian Brown, The Ordinary Boys, Dirty
Pretty Things, Larrikin Love, Goldie Lookin' Chain and The Cuban Brothers
are headlining the seven back-to-back events, with support acts also due to be added. Click here for the lineup details.
Ordinary Boy/celebrity anomaly, Preston, said: "The
last shows we played in london were mental. It will be different playing in the afternoon but we have a really up for it crowd
compared to most bands in the capital so we are really looking forward to it."
Fans can pick and choose from
the seven gigs, which take place in Islington, Camden, Brixton, Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, and King's Cross, or invest
in a railcard and take them all on.
One of the event's organisers, Martin Coyle, said: "This
year we have designed the whole event to ensure that gig-goers can travel from venue to venue throughout the 24 hours and
catch every single headline band. Carling Live 24 is going to be one legendary day and we are sure there will be a few stories
to tell afterwards!"
Tickets go on sale here from 14 March and are expected to cost about £15-£20 each
with discounts for the whole lot. A similar event is expected to be announced for Manchester although no news as
yet on what date.
