Editors reveal T In The Park date to fans

Editors told hundreds of fans at their Glasgow gig last night that they're definitely booked for T In The Park. We've also
heard via the grapevine that Paul Weller is on the verge of signing up for the Scottish festival...
Editors will perform on the Radio1/NME
Stage on Sunday, 9 July, at T In The Park. The band revealed the news during their sold-out gig in Glasgow's King
Tut's last night.
Singer Tom Smith told the 1,900 fans:
"There is no better place in the world to announce you're playing T in the Park. We can't wait to see you there!"
bands already confirmed for last year's 'Best Major Festival' award winner include Red Hot Chili Peppers,
The Who, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream,
Franz Ferdinand, and many more.
VF has also learnt that Paul Weller is 99 per cent confirmed for the two-day event, following this week's news that the Modfather
is playing V Festival.

T In The Park 2006 takes place in Balado,
Kinross, Perthshire, on 8-9 July. The event is completely sold out. More acts will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
