Now in its third year, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival returns to Inverness, Scotland on August 11-12, expecting to draw 10,000
people - 3,000 more than last year.
The festival, one of Britain's most northerly events, will host around 45 acts across three stages
with Arlo Guthrie the first headliner confirmed.
Organiser Rob Ellen said, "It is truly wonderful
how the event has grown in just three years, but we didn't want to rush anything. This year we're also adding a stage for
comedy and providing more general family entertainment."
Last year saw performances from El Presidente,
The Bees, Alabama 3, Editors, The Black Velvets, Jah Wobble, British Sea Power, The Proclaimers and many more.
acts for 2006 and ticket details will be announced here soon.
