The Strokes for T In The Park

As if you needed another reason to buy your ticket, The Strokes have just been added to the increasingly impressive lineup for T In The Park which sold out this morning in just one hour!

The band, who headlined the festival in 2004, will play Sunday's Main Stage ahead of headliners The Who.

Other bands playing on the Sunday include Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream, Felix Da Housecat, and Slam.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Sigur Ros, and The Ordinary Boys are the bands confirmed so far for the Saturday.

Weekend and day tickets went on sale at 9am this morning and sold out in just one hour.

T In The Park 2006 takes place at Balado, Kinross, Perthshire, on 8-9 July.
