V2002 set to sell out

V2002 festival takes place this weekend (August 17th and 18th) and will be headlined by Stereophonics
and The Chemical Brothers.
Since tickets went on sale in March, with V's best ever first weekend ticket sales, tickets
have been quite literally flying out, surpassing all expectations. Weekend camping tickets for the Chelmsford site sold-out
completely by June. The Chelmsford site is now almost completely sold-out of day and (non-camping) weekend tickets, with the
Weston Park site hot on its heals.
Bob Angus, Festival Director for Chelmsford commented:
"Ticket sales have yet again been amazing and are a true testament
to the V festival's position within the UK festival circuit. The diverse line up with acts such as Stereophonics, Chemical
Brothers, Elvis Costello and Manic Street Preachers has meant there's something for everyone at V this year."
Simon Moran, Festival Director for Staffs commented:
"Since the we announced the first few acts in March, we felt that
the V2002 line up has developed into one of our best yet and the ticket sales prove it. We've got a limited number of weekend
camping tickets for Weston Park left and there are still some day tickets for both sites so we'd advise everyone to get their
tickets now while they still can."
You can buy tickets right now in our online ticket store.
