Blunt and Massive Attack for Wireless?

| 02 February 2006

Q Magazine has tipped James Blunt, Massive Attack, and Oasis to headline the four-date festival, which takes place in Hyde Park between 23-29 June.

And while Oasis have said they will NOT be playing, it looks likely that James Blunt and Massive Attack could each headline a day.

Depeche Mode have already confirmed they will performing at the festival via their website and will almost certainly headline.

Other bands rumoured as possibles for Wireless include The Magic Numbers, Delays, The Crimea, Jose Gonzalez, Scissor Sisters, Morrissey, and Morning Runner.

There has been no official announcement by organisers as yet but if it follows last year's formula the festival will consist of four day-long events spanning the Friday, Saturday, and following Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday is expected to be a dance music orientated day.

Tickets are not on sale yet but should be around the £40 mark per day. Stay posted to VF for all the official lineup announcements. Click here for more information.
