Give It A Name doubles up
United Kingdom | |
11 January 2006
Lost Prophets and My Chemical Romance will headline the twin city event,
with all the action unfolding over the weekend of 29-30 April.
The rock fests will take place in London's Earls
Court and the Manchester Evening News Arena with two massive bills swapping between locations after
their respective shows on Saturday night.
Other bands announced to the lineup include Under Oath,
Taking Back Sunday, Goldfinger, The Bled, and Silverstein
with more still to be confirmed. See below for the full lineup.
Day tickets can be bought for £28.50 or you can take
in the whole weekend for £55. Tickets will be available from 9am Friday, 13 January.
A spokesman for the
event said: "Last year's Give It A Name was the largest indoor all day rock event in the UK and Give It A Name
2006 is going to be even bigger. After selling out last year's one day London event
in a week, it will now cover London and Manchester over two days with two stages at each venue - making
it the biggest indoor rock weekender in Europe."
A total of 26 bands will perform over the weekend and there will be a signing tent for those
wanting to hunt down their heroes.
