United Kingdom United Kingdom | | 12 December 2005

The influential US alt-rockers will programme one of three days for the second United Sounds of ATP, which takes place in Camber Sands Holiday Park from 19-21 May.

Dinosaur Jr accepted the role after Ween were forced to pull out due to personal reasons and suggested the reunited trio take their place. Sleater-Kinney and The Shins are the other two bands curating the indoor festival.

Tickets are refundable for those who bought on the premise that Ween would be appearing (until 5 January). Alternatively, tickets can be swapped for the first United Sounds Of ATP weekend, which takes place from 12-14 May.

Curated by Mudhoney, Devendra Banhart, and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, a bunch of bands have just been confirmed for weekend one.

Blood Brothers, The Liars, Imaginary Folk, TV on The Radio, Ex-Models, Celebration, Tall Boys, Espers, Vetiver, Bat for Lashes, The Metallic Falcons, Black Mountain, The Scientists, The Drones, Country Teasers, Comets on Fire, David Dondero, and Jana Hunterm will all play.

More acts for both weekends are due to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for both festivals are currently on sale priced £125 per person with an extra booking fee per chalet. You need to book in blocks of 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 or you can arrange to share a chalet. Click here.
