Six UK acts confirmed for EuroSonic
Comprising of the EuroSonic, Noorderslag festivals and Noorderslag
Seminar, the Noorderslag Weekend has its largest program ever this year, with over 180 bands performing
over three days, and radio broadcasts from over 24 European stations to millions of listeners.
Taking place between
12-14 January, the festival celebrates its 20th birthday by showcasing some of the hottest new acts from across the continent.
From the UK, BBC Radio One will broadcast a two hour EuroSonic special on the One World show on Sunday night, featuring live music from the festival. More material will be broadcast on One Music with Huw Stephens and Rob Da Bank
Noorderslag Weekend expects 1800 professionals such as agents, promoters, festival organisers,
management companies and radio stations, as well as extensive media coverage in all the main European music magazines.
Aside from the business, Noorderslag Weekend is also a must for music fans keen
to discover some of the bands that will be playinng the summer festivals.
