Elbow's 'alien invasion' at Reading

Those at this year's Reading Festival may remember Elbow orchestrating some bizarre crowd activity during their set. With their new video just released, it all finally makes sense. See for yourself here...

The video to 'Leaders Of The Free World' shows a 'War Of The Worlds' style invasion by aliens, with the neon intruders stumbling across Reading Festival (more Arctic Monkeys fans?)

To help bring the scene to life, singer Guy Garvey had asked Friday's Main Stage crowd to point up at the sky behind the stage in unison and scream, "as if you've just seen a massive alien".

The audience were also asked to do what can only be described as a 'Mexican Crouch', dropping to their knees from the front row back in a chain reaction.

The two crowd scenes work brilliantly in the video and we've got it right here so have a look and see if you can spot yourself!
