New York festival lineup unveiled

The Killers, Pixies, Oasis, and Beck have been confirmed as headliners for the inaugral 'Across The Narrows' festival, which takes place in New York next month.

Jet, Interpol, Death From Above 1979, The Lemonheads, and Gang Of Four are also among the acts confirmed for the event, which will be held on 1-2 October.

Separated by the 'Narrows' section of New York Bay, two concerts will take place simultaneously each day at two waterfront ballparks in Coney Island and Staten Island.

Contrary to previous reports, the festival will not work like V Festival where the same bill rotates over the two days - instead there will be four separate concerts with completely different bills.
