Idlewild for V2002!

The band that put the "rock" back in rock'n'roll, have been added to the V2002 line up joining the likes of Basement Jaxx, The Doves and Elbow on the NME Stage. Appearing at Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 17th August and Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 18th August, the 4-piece from Scotland promise an unmissable show.

Idlewild's latest single "American English" has won the band fans across the UK, with their third album "The Remote Part" riding high in the album charts - currently at number 3. An auspicious piece of work, Remote Part sees an album rife with the chaos and urgency of modern living expressed through the band's unmistakable acoustic guitar sound.
