Nokia RAW rocking Reading

27 August 2005
Talented guitarists, drummers and singers have all been treating their mates and onlookers to covers
of Reading legends Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, and loads more, as part of the 'Rock Up
& Play' programme which invites musicians to play at the historic festival.
The Nokia RAW tent has also hosted
a number of masterclasses from The Subways, Elbow and Yeti, with the bands giving tips on getting ahead in the music industry
as well as playing acoustic tracks.
Earlier today (Saturday) Yeti's John Hassel held a question and answers sessions
with 20 competition winners. He said: "It's amazing to be paid for what you love, playing music. You should all just go for
it and try to realise your ambition."
He then played new single 'Never Lose Your Sense Of Wonder' and his version
of 'When I'm Cleaning Windows'.
