Against doctors orders (singer Josh Homme had been advised to cancel his Carling Weekend shows
due to a persistent knee problem) the band had performed a rowdy set, comprising of songs from their latest album 'Lullabies
To Paralyze' plus 'Regular John' from their first eponymous LP and 'Covered In Punk's Blood' from the Desert Sessions.
Backstage gossip suggests that Homme will guest on drums for his friends Death From Above 1979, during their set on
the NME/ Radio 1 Stage at Leeds Festival tomorrow.
Their full set-list at Reading was:
Go With The Flow
Feelgood Hit Of The Summer
The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret
First It Giveth
Regular John
Little
Sister
Covered In Punk's Blood
In My Head
The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died
Burn The Witch
The Long Slow
Goodbye
