Reading bows for new Elbow video!

26 August 2005
Half way through a sensational set, featuring songs from their soon to be released third album
'Leaders Of The Free World', Garvey asked the main stage audience to perform a crouching Mexican wave. The crowd obliged,
falling to their knees from the front row in a chain reaction that stretched back as far as the eye could see.
Later
on, onlookers were asked to point upwards to the sky with a scream and a look od surprise, which was also filmed.
The
footage will be used in Elbow's forthcoming single video. As well as producing perhaps the set of the day
and making people video stars, Elbow also played their part in a wedding proposal, performing 'Fugitive Motel' for a fan of
the song who'd told the band he was planning to pop the question during its performance.
