Late night at Leeds Festival with Oxfam
24 August 2005
Oxfam is set to have a high profile presence at this year's Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival, with chill out days and hedonistic nights.
Festival goers will be able to chill out during the day with a mixture of giant board games, comfy sofas and the Fair Trade Café, whilst the evenings will see Lucky Soul and our very own Virtual Festivals DJs spinning a seedy mix of indie, rock and dance classics. Expect Queen, White Stripes, Maiden, Killers and maybe even some Pixies!
More importantly though, fans will be able to sign up to the Make Trade Fair petition and find out how to get involved with Oxfam's many other good causes. Information will be on hand with the chance to find out just how easy it is to change the world by doing what you love.
The Oxfam tent will be one of only two places on site open after the bands finish at 11.00pm.
