Saturday looks likely to be a rainy one at both legs of this weekend's V Festival, but the good news is that the sun should be shining again by Sunday. Don't forget your wellies ... or your sunnies!

According to the BBC, the weather in Chelmsford will take a turn for the worse tomorrow, with the maximum temperature during the day dropping to a shuddering 16°c with rain forecast for Friday and Saturday.

It’ll be a slightly better picture in Staffordshire, with the rain not kicking in until Saturday - so at least you’ll be able to put your tent up in the dry!

By Sunday it should’ve cleared up at both sites, with sunny spells at Staffs and bright blue sunny skies at Chelmsford, both with highs of 22°c.

It will then get even hotter on Monday when we’re all going back to work or going home feeling rough! Great...

Remember to bring warm clothes and waterproofs and pray that the forecast miraculously changes over the next 24 hours!

V Festival 2005 takes place at Weston Park, Staffs, and Hylands Park, Chelmsford, this weekend (20-21 August). Click here for more details.
