Nine Black Alps step in at V

22-20s were due to play the headline slot on the Volvic Stage on Saturday 20 August at Weston Park, Staffordshire, and Sunday 21 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford.
But a statement from the band this morning read: "22-20s hugely regret that we will not be able to play at this year's V festival due to illness. We are confident that Nine Black Alps will play a blinding set and wish them luck and apologise to the fans for having to pull out."
Nine Black Alps, currently enjoying success with thieir debut album 'Everything Is', said: "We were sorry to hear the 22-20's have had to pull out, but we're honored and delighted to have been added to the V Festival bill at the last minute. We're looking forward to having a great weekend indeed."
V Festival 2005 takes place at Weston Park, Staffordshire, and Sunday 21 August
at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, this weekend (20-21 August).
