The other half of the Carling Weekend extravaganza is Reading's Northern cousin, Leeds Festival. Proving to be just as exciting as it's counterpart, you're guaranteed to have a riot of a time!

General Information:

Opening and Closing times: The gates will open at 8am on Thursday 25 August and remain open until noon on Monday 29 August.

First Act on: 11.30am
Last Act off: Approx 11.30pm

Age Restrictions: Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. All children aged 12 and under are admitted free with a ticket holding adult.

Pass Outs: You need your wristband to come in and out of the site.

Animals & Pets? No

Food & Drink: Numerous amounts of food and drink stalls on site at varied prices or you can bring your own. Food for personal consumption may be taken into the arena but alcohol, drinks bottles, cans and glass bottles and can not.

Facilities:

Lost & Found: There is a left luggage point on site.

Cash Points: 12 ATM machines are available on site and the nearest off site cash point is at Tesco.

Phone charging points: There will be a phone charging tent on site catering for
all major phone brands.

Kids Area: There is no designated kids area.

Pharmacy: First aid and paramedics will be of assistance in emergencies and a welfare tent for all other issues, which is open 24-hours from noon on Thursday with pharmaceutical supplies close by.

Toilets: Portaloos on site and in the arena.

Getting There:

Directions by car:

FROM A1/ A1(M) SOUTH
Follow the A1 north past Pontefract. From here follow event signs onto the A659 and A58 southbound, then the A6120 and A64 eastbound and into Leeds Festival site. Please note: There is absolutely no event access for A64 traffic travelling westbound.

FROM M1 SOUTH
Take the M1 to Junction 46. From here follow event signs onto the A6120 and A64 eastbound into Leeds Festival site. Please note: There is absolutely no event access for A64 traffic travelling westbound.

FROM M62 EAST
Take the M62 westbound to junction 33. Turn onto the A1 north, then follow event signs onto the A659 and A58 southbound, then the A6120 and A64 eastbound and into Leeds Festival site. Please note: There is absolutely no event access for A64 traffic travelling westbound.

FROM M62 WEST
Take the M62 eastbound to junction 29. Take the M1 north to junction 46. Follow event signs onto the A6120 and A64 eastbound into Leeds Festival site. Please note: There is absolutely no event access for A64 traffic travelling westbound.

FROM A1/ A1(M) NORTH
Take the A1/ A1(M) southbound. Follow event signage onto the A659, A58, A6120, then A64 eastbound into the Leeds Festival site. Please note: There is absolutely no event access for A64 traffic traveling westbound.

Car Park:

Parking is separate to the campsites in adjacent fields. There are six areas for public car parks - red, orange, green, brown, guest / disabled and campervan and parking is included in the price of your ticket.

Trains:

Great North Eastern Railway, Virgin Trains and First TransPennine Express run trains to Leeds City Station.

Shuttle Bus:

There is a shuttle bus from Leeds City Station to the festival site and ticket prices are:

- £7 advance return from Leeds and York.
- On the day the return price from Leeds will be £7.50
- £4 single ticket price to and from Leeds
- £5 cheap day return from Leeds for day ticket holders on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- £2 return ticket to Tescos.

The shuttle service runs from Sovereign Street just outside Leeds Railway Station, please follow the signage.
The shuttle service at York Railway Station runs from directly outside the station. The shuttle service at Tescos, Seacroft runs from the top part of the Tesco car park further away from the supermarket

Camper Vans info: Anyone wanting to bring their campervan to the Festival must email their request to campervans@meanfiddler.co.uk prior to the event or write to them at Festival Office, Mean Fiddler, 16 Harlesden High Street, London NW10 4LX.

Special Needs Info:

Disabled access to the event: Camping/parking for disabled people is shared with the guest camping/parking area and it is usually possible to park close to your tent. Each disabled customer may have up to three people camping with them, with a maximum of one car.

Viewing platforms: If agreed in advance, disabled customers will receive access for themselves and one PA to the viewing platforms on each stage.

Toilets: There is at least one adapted toilet at each toilet block in the arena, one at each viewing platform and several in the disabled/guest campsite.

Special camping facilities: Camping is with the hospitality campsite.
