The Magic Numbers to headline Bestival
One of this year's top festival finds, The Magic Numbers, have been promoted to headline the Friday night at Bestival, with organisers also announcing the rest of the main stage lineup.
Mylo has been announced as Friday night's second headliner and Sebastien Tellier has also joined the bill on that day.
They join the other two headliners Royksopp and Super Furry Animals, and many others including British Sea Power, Soulwax, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Rakes and The Go! Team.
A spokesman for Bestival said: "The Magic Numbers have been moved up to the headline slot after a show stealing Glastonbury performance and a new album that has gone straight to gold."
Other additions include a number of acts to the Weird West Big Top Arena, including Clor, The White Rose Movement, and Erol Alkan.
It's also been announced that The Cuban Brothers will host the main stage each day under a different theme, as well as performing their live 'Latin Soul' experience for the first time ever. Another debuting his live show will be currator Rob Da Bank's mate Max Sedgley and Annie Nightingale has also just been confirmed for a DJ slot.
Three of Virtual Festivals' 'Discovered!' new bands winners will also be playing. Look out for Intervurt, The Seen, and White Star, who'll be rocking Robin Hill Country Park.
Of course, there will be loads more, including the Stick It On tent where anyone can have their 15 minutes as a DJ, whether they can mix or not, a 'hidden disco', plus loads of oddball performance artists, burlesque performances, and natty goings on.
Bestival 2005 takes place at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle Of Wight. Weekend tickets are just £89 and are available by clicking here.
