Presented in association with Culture Group
and disability campaigners Scope, the Glastonbury Inter@ctive tent will take the
form of a unique "GeoDome" area, situated in the new Dance Village at the festival.
Visitors
are invited to not only meet the VF team, but also contribute to the online coverage of the festival (via this
site and the official one) by sharing digital photos and experiences. There will also be "sofa session" discussions
and live performances by some of the most talented acts, including surprise visits by some very special guests.
Big
screens will show our video footage from around the site, as we lose ourselves in the festival and meet some of the most colourful
characters on the planet, and chat to artists and celebrities backstage.
The 'Scope: Time to get equal' initiative will provide the opportunity to add support to a campaign against disablism
that is endorsed by some of the great voices of equality, including Nelson Mandela.
So if you're at the festival, come
down and say hello! If you're not, log-on to the message boards
and say hello (and follow our coverage updated live during the event).
In other VF @ Glastonbury news, we're also thrilled
to be hosting a night of live entertainment featuring some true legends - Friday at the Leftfield. See here for more.
