City in the Park Cancelled

The following statement was released, "Due to unforeseen technical problems regarding the size and nature of the stage required for the Jamiroquai appearance at the City In The Park show in Nottingham, the promoter has decided to cancel the event.

"The main area of concern is that the ground where the stage would be situated has been deemed temporarily unsuitable & incapable of coping with the stage and production that the Jamiroquai show requires.

"Nottingham City Council has confirmed that the area would need to be levelled and re-turfed but would not be ready in time for the show or before passing any necessary safety checks."

Fun Lovin' Criminals, who were also on the line-up for the event, will now play a headline show at the indoor Nottingham Rock City, that night.
