Win tickets to Glastonbury from Oxfam
06 June 2005
To be in with a chance of winning the tickets, which are worth £250, entrants should take a photo of one of their white wristbands, which are the symbol of the Make Poverty History campaign, in an interesting or unusual setting and submit it to the website. A gallery of the best photographs will be displayed online, and the most imaginative will net the top prize. Entrants must be at least 16 years old.
Entries must be submitted as .JPG files via the GenerationWhy website or by e-mailing them to email@example.com by 5.00 pm on Wednesday 16 June. Five lucky runners-up will receive one of Oxfam's new range of ethically-sourced T-shirts, which have been designed by a group of young artists to convey Oxfam's current campaign messages in the GenerationWhy style. You can get hold of a white band at any of Oxfam's 750 shops or at www.makepovertyhistory.org.
The Glastonbury Festival 2005 takes place from 24 - 26 June at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset. The White Stripes, Coldplay, Basement Jaxx, Primal Scream, The Killers, and New Order are among those confirmed to play. Click here for full details.
