Hot Tickets - get them quick!
The first of this summer's Virtual Festivals (sponsored by Amicus) in Islington's intimate Chapel Bar will be headlined by explosive emerging legends, The Lancaster Bombers - recently named as Carl Barat's new fave band.
The Bombers have only just played their first ever live show at the infamous Boogaloo pub, and were responsible for reuniting Carl and Pete Doherty after months of not speaking. Their incendiary performance attracted rave reviews from everyone who saw them, and Virtual Festivals are delighted to be able to exclusively announce their next live outing, which is sure to be a sell-out.
Also on the bill on the 21st May are Irish punk stalwarts, Neck and young punk upstarts Tat - whose gigs have been attracting some serious interest over the last few months. South London electronic noise-smiths, Intervurt are late additions to the bill, and for fans who like their music hard and raw there is a stunning metal-edged afternoon line-up of Panic Cell, <209>, Died Smiling, Esoterica and Drugdealer Cheerleader. Kicking the day off just after noon there is another taste of things to come from the newly formed Rose Motel - an unknown quantity right now, but with real promise.
Tickets are £10 from ticketweb.co.uk - that's just £1 per band - and because VF are feeling generous then one ticket number will be selected to get a nice crisp £50 note to the holder when they arrive...but only if they get to the venue before 4pm.
