The Polyphonic Spree and more for V

Nine more acts have been confirmed for this year's V Festival, including The Roots, Tom Vek, The Departure, The Stands, and The Polyphonic Spree.

V Festival takes place simultaneously at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on 20-21 August.

Newly added to the V Stage are The Stands, while The Departure have been added to Stage Two. The Roots, The Polyphonic Spree, Estelle, and Lucie Silvas join the JJB/Puma Arena lineup.

Also added are Good Charlotte, Jem, and Tom Vek, although it's not currently known on what stage.

V Festival 2005 will headlined by Oasis, Scissor Sisters and Franz Ferdinand. Click here for more details and the full line-up. Both events are sold out.
