However, despite internet whispers circulating around chat rooms and fan forums, it seems unlikely
the Kings will play a near-unprecedented third year running.
Glastonbury Festival organisers prefer
not to book bands two years in a row, let alone three - although recently that trend seems to be fading.
It
would be difficult for bookers to put the US band any further down the bill than they were last year - or any
higher up. In 2004 they warmed up for Oasis on the Friday night. The year before
they performed the New Bands Tent.
But whether they appear at Glastonbury or not, expect to see Kings Of Leon play at least one major UK festival this summer
- with Reading/Leeds Festival the most likely.
