Line-up announcements this week!

Ross Purdie - 07 February 2005
Download 2005 launches tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday), when organisers will
finally reveal whether the festival is going to expand into a three day event, in addition to announcing the
first handful of bands confirmed for the rock fest. System Of A Down, Black Sabbath,
and Velvet Revolver are among those rumoured to be playing. Virtual Festivals will broadcast the news,
as it's announced live from the launch party. Download 2005 takes place at Donington Park, Derbyshire,
over the weekend of 11-12 June. CLICK HERE for more.
Then on Friday, T In The Park 2005 will be officially unveiled
with the two headliners expected to be revealed. Green Day will almost certainly be one of
the acts confirmed after details of their festival schedule were leaked. Foo Fighters are rumoured to be
the other. The festival takes place at Balado, Kinross, between 9-10 July. CLICK HERE for more.
It is also believed that V Festival will make a big announcement
soon, probably this week, although nothing has been confirmed. Oasis, Scissor Sisters, and
Maroon 5 are expected to be among the acts topping the bill. Tickets should go on sale in the next few weeks.
V Festival 2005 happens simultaneously over two sites, Hylands Park, Chelmsford (CLICK HERE) and Weston Park, Staffs, (CLICK HERE) on 20-21 August.
