EXCLUSIVE: Green Day festival dates

Green Day are set to headline T In The Park and Oxegen, as well as play a number of European festivals, according to the band's official website.

The US band are expected to top the bill of the Irish festival Oxegen on Saturday 9 July, before jetting up to Scotland to close T In The Park on the Sunday night (10 July).

Green Day will also play several European festivals, including Roskilde, Rock Im Park, and Quart Festival.

Virtual Festivals was alerted to the 'leak' after a full tour schedule appeared on the band's official site earlier this week - before it was hastily taken down.

The dates have since been posted on a fan's website. They are as follows:

06/04/05 - Nuremberg, Germany - Rock IM Park
06/11/05 - Imola, Italy - Heineken Jammin Festival
06/12/05 - Vienna, Austria - Novarock Festival
06/18/05 - Milton Keynes - Milton Keynes National Bowl
06/19/05 - Milton Keynes - Milton Keynes National Bowl
06/24/05 - Switzerland - Interlaken Greenfield Festival
06/26/05 - Holland - Nijmegan Rockin Park Festival
07/02/05 - Denmark - Roskilde Festival
07/05/05 - Norway - Quart Festival
07/09/05 - Dublin - Oxygen Festival
07/10/05 - Scotland - T in the Park

Although there is no indication of whether the band will headline the events, it's very likely considering they are staging two massive shows in Milton Keynes National Bowl, both of which have sold out.
