More rumours for Reading/Leeds

According to NME, Queens Of The Stone Age, Kasabian, Bloc
Party, Hot Hot Heat, Killing Joke, Elbow, Kaiser
Chiefs and The Mars Volta will make triumphant returns to the festival.
Velvet Revolver,
The Bravery and Babyshambles will make their debuts if the report is to believed.
It's
also alleged that Pixies, Foo Fighters and Iron Maiden will be headlining.

Mean
Fiddler has denied all the revelations as rumours, emphasising that nothing will be officially confirmed
until a statement is released towards the end of March.
In November of last year, the company's director
of festivals, Melvin Benn, told Virtual Festivals that half of the acts for the two festivals had already been booked,
including two of the three headliners.
Tickets are likely to go on sale in March. The Carling Reading/Leeds
Festival takes place simultaneously at Richfield Avenue, Reading, and Bramham Park,
Leeds, over the weekend of 26-28 August 2005.
