More tickets and GLC for tsunami gig

The show's producers have
been looking into how they might squeeze more people into the benefit show ever since the original ticket allocation
of 60,000 sold out in a matter of days. The 'Live Aid-style' event aims to raise £1m for survivors of the Boxing Day
disaster.
Kicking off at 3.30pm on Saturday (22 January), the show will also include performances from the Manic
Street Preachers, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones, Eric Clapton, Snow
Patrol, Feeder, Keane, Embrace and Badly Drawn Boy.
The
BBC will be broadcasting the event on both TV and radio, as well as online. Parts of the show will be screened on
BBC1 and BBC2 live, as well as it being broadcast by Radio 2.
Seated tickets will be go on sale from 1.30pm today
(Wednesday 19 January) priced between £22.50 and £30 and are only available by calling Ticketmaster.
