Tsunami benefit bands boost

Manic Street Preachers, Badly Drawn Boy, Snow Patrol and Embrace have all been confirmed to play a massive fundraiser for victims of the Asian tsunami later this month in Cardiff.

The Tsunami Relief Cardiff Concert is set to take place in the Millennium Stadium on Saturday 22nd January, with the aim of raising £1m for those affected by the disaster.

Eric Clapton, Feeder, Lemar, Katherine Jenkins and Aled Jones make up the rest of the billing with possibly more to be added.

Tickets are already selling like wildfire with around 50,000 of the 65,000 already snapped up.
