Foo Fighters named bookies' favourite for Glastonbury 2015

Paddy Power release their latest odds for Glastonbury Festival

Foo Fighters are now 5/4 favourites to headline Glastonbury Festival 2015, according to reports with the NME.

AC/DC, who have dates in the UK through late June to early July, are now 6/1 to headline the festival. Their fifteenth internationally released studio album ‘Rock or Bust’ came out in November of last year and the band will continue supporting it as they celebrate their 40th anniversary this year.

Florence and The Machine - heavily rumoured for Reading and Leeds Festivals 2015 - are now 8/1 to headline. The band are confirmed for a number of festivals, including Coachella, The Governors Ball, Hurricane Festival, Southside Festival, Sziget Festival, Roskilde, Oya Festival and Sweden’s Way Out West Festival. On Thursday 25 June, ahead of the main programme of music at Glastonbury from 26 - 28 June, Florence & The Machine will play Be Rock Werchter.

Though Oasis, despite the Gallagher’s insistence they aren’t about to reform any time soon, are now at 12/1 to reunite and headline Glastonbury Festival 2015.

Coldplay, The Libertines and Taylor Swift are also strong rumoured for Glastonbury this year. At present, Lionel Richie is the first and only act to be officially announced for Glastonbury Festival 2015.

Glastonbury Festival tickets sold out in a record 25 minutes in October of last year. They cost £220 each, plus a £5 booking fee.
