KISS and Motley Crue confirmed for Download Festival 2015

One of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, KISS have sold in excess of 100 million records and are currently celebrating their 40th anniversary. In April of this year, the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, nearly 15 years after first becoming eligible. The current touring roster features founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, plus Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

Fellow glam-metal cohorts Motley Crue will be the main support to KISS on the Sunday night, bringing Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil to Donington as part of their farewell tour.

Also announced for the Sunday at Download Festival is Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and Second Stage headliners Enter Shikari.

The new additions join previously announced headliners Slipknot and Muse, plus Judas Priest, Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch and A Day To Remember.

Download Festival 2015 takes place at Donington Park near Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 June.

Download Festival tickets will be available from 9am tomorrow (November 20), priced as follows:

Weekend Arena:  £170 plus booking fee
Weekend & 3 night camping: £195 plus booking fee
Weekend & 5 night camping:  £205 plus booking fee
