Fleetwood Mac are bookies' favourite for Glastonbury Festival 2015

Bookmakers also slash odds for Prince and Rihanna

Virtual Festivals on 18 September 2014

Online bookmaker Paddy Power have now stopped taking bets because Michael Eavis claims the headline acts have already been booked.

Fleetwood Mac are clear favourites, at odds of 4/5. The band turned down the festival the past two years and Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has said he would like them to play at Worth Farm in 2015.

In other interviews, Eavis has said he has already booked a trio of headliners, including one international band, and has denied that Prince is booked for the festival.

"We've got three headliners already – and that's without Prince” Eavis said back in June. "We had an agent [for a band] yesterday on the platform by the stage watching Metallica with me, saying 'My band want to do it next year'. I can't tell you who it was but that was done on the platform watching Metallica.

Diana Ross is another high profile named that has been linked to the festival next year, after The Sun reported a 'source' told them that The Supremes' singer is in talks with Glastonbury organisers about a possible Sunday afternoon slot; the same slot that Dolly Parton occupied this year.

When betting was suspended the odds at Paddy Power were:

4/5 Fleetwood Mac

6/1 Kate Bush

6/1 Prince

7/1 Oasis

10/1 Coldplay

10/1 Foo Fighters

12/1 Elton John

14/1 The Stone Roses

20/1 Rihanna

Glastonbury Festival 2015 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from Wed 24 - Sun 28 June.

Earlier this week, Glastonbury revealed the ticket sale dates and details for next year's festival. There will be two separate ticket sales early next month, one for festival tickets and one for festival tickets with coach packages.
