The two British acts have been linked to the two 'unannounced' slots on William’s Green (near the Kidz Field and Big Top) this evening from 8pm. The official timetable has two slots simply labelled “Live Band” and it's believed The 1975 will take to the stage first, followed by Metronomy at 21:15. Rumours had been spreading online and around the festival as to exactly who would be performing, but The Guardian appear to have confirmed things in this aside on their Glastonbury liveblog:

“Well that's all from us until the festival starts properly tomorrow! We'll have all the news from tonight's parties and shows (Metronomy and The 1975 are both playing at William's Green from 8pm) in tomorrow's liveblog.”

This will be the second year in a row William’s Green has hosted a secret gig on Glastonbury’s Thursday night, with Alt-J, Django Django and Dry The River all taking to the stage last year.

In other 'secret' news, Kaiser Chiefs confirmed to play the first “secret” Other Stage slot tomorrow, rumours continue about who will play the free slot on the John Peel Stage on Sunday afternoon, with the likes of Prince, Coldplay, The Libertines, La Roux and The Kooks all mooted.

Aphex Twin will play The Temple tomorrow night from 3 - 4am, making a rare live appearence under the cheeky moniker DJ AFX. Don't miss it.

In another surprise appearence, British raggae legend Macka B will play the LBHQ Million Bullet Club in Shangri-La from 02:00 - 03:00 tomorrow night.

Glastonbury Festival 2014 takes place on Worthy Farm, Somerset from 25-29 June.
