The indie-rock band from Leeds, currently enjoying the success of their fifth studio album 'Education, Education, Education & War', have today been confirmed for the previously 'secret slot' on the Other Stage from 11:00 - 11:45 tomorrow morning (June 27).

Ricky Wilson and co. will play the second biggest stage at the festival for the early-morning risers; reprising a slot that Beady Eye so gracefully accepted last year. The confirmation this morning means that Kaiser Chiefs will play two shows tomorrow, going from their Other Stage slot to headlining the John Peel Tent at 22:45.

The band have recently experienced a revival in favour as Radio 2 and a new generation of fans have embraced them and their first material since the departure of founding member and songwriter Nick Hodgson back in 2012. Their new record, released back in March, went straight to Number One in the UK Album Charts and spawned a string of hit singles, including 'Coming Home'. Frontman and general loudmouth Ricky Wilson has swapped his chair-spinning antics on The Voice for a string of high profile shows with the band, including a headline slot at the o2 Arena scheduled for early next year.

One final high-profile secret slots remains at the festival, on the John Peel Tent this Sunday (June 29) from 14:35-15:30. Among the high profile names rumoured for this slot, the leading names are The Kooks and La Roux.

Arcade Fire, Metallica and Kasabian are set to headline Glastonbury Festival 2014, which takes place on Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from 25 - 29 June.
