Friday day tickets have now sold out for Reading Festival 2014, which showcases performances from joint headliners Queens Of The Stone Age and Paramore, Courteeners and Jimmy Eat World.

This is compounded by an earlier announcement that Saturday day tickets have also sold out, as that day sees performances from headliner Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg and a live set from British duo Nero.

Last year, Reading Festival 2013 completely sold out, and prospective attendees are urged to buy their weekend tickets from official ticket agents as soon as possible before they are all snapped up again.

For those disappointed by the news that Friday is now sold out, fans of Josh Homme and co can still enjoy the same line-up by purchasing Leeds Festival 2014 Saturday day tickets, which are still available.

Reading Festival 2014 and Leeds Festival 2014 take place over the Bank Holiday weekend in August, this year from 22 - 24 AugustReading Festival returns to its traditional home on Little Johns Farm, not far from the centre of Reading, and Leeds Festival also returns to its home of Branham Park, just under 30 minutes from the centre of Leeds by car.

Reading & Leeds Festival tickets are available now, both priced at £205 for a weekend camping ticket, subject to an £8 booking fee. Early entry permits are £15 again and are only available for the Leeds date, while Campervan permits are £60. Day tickets are also available now for Leeds Festival and for the Sunday only at Reading Festival, priced at £92.50 plus a £7 booking fee.
