After a huge debut year in 2013, Temple Island returns to Bestival, this time in a brand new area of the site and sponsored by SBTV.

The Temple will open its doors on the Thursday night of the festival with Aussies Klangkarussell, house name Kidnap Kid and Bestival’s gang-leader Rob da Bank going up against Robin Hill regular Tayo for a special Prince flavoured Purple Rave.

T Williams, Shadow Child, Preditah, Lxury and Maribou State go back to back with Pedestrian on the Friday evening.

Saturday night will see the finest electronic dance beats from Sigma, My Nu Leng, Karma, Ed Solo and Shift K3Y.

Finally Sunday night will be closed by the Eton Messy crew, Blonde, Bondax, Wayward and Dolan Bergin, amongst others.

The Temple Island additions join a Bestival bill that already features headline sets from Beck, Foals, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers and OutKast.

Temple Island curator, Liam Negus-Fancey said: "We’re really excited to be back at Bestival with Temple Island after its phenomenal debut last year. The acts reflect our audience, they go above and beyond what others expect, constantly evolving to produce the best environment possible. We’re teaming up with the Bestival creative crew to build a brand new venue to host this exciting pool of fresh, boundary pushing talent to ensure you’re partying late into the night!"

SBTV founder Jamal Edwards said: "I’m a massive fan of Bestival, it was one of the very first festivals I went to, and the experience was unreal. So partnering up with them this year is an honour for me. I'm a big supporter of the electronic dance scene, so I'm really happy that Bestival has given me an opportunity to put on an area that has got such great names like Kidnap Kid, T Williams, Preditah & many more".

Bestival 2014 takes place from 4-7 September at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight.
