Hazlewood will compile an all star band for a special performance of work written by the late composer Barry Gray. He will conduct the band through a 45 minute set at Glastonbury on Sunday (June 29) at 1pm on the Park Stage.

Gray grew up in London during the early 20th century and is best known for his scores to hit television shows Fireball XL5, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, UFO and Thunderbirds.

The Charles Hazlewood Allstars will feature musicians from Goldfrapp, Portishead, Get the Blessing and Loose Tubes. Francois Evans will also be appearing, playing Barry Gray’s original Ondes Martenot.

The Charles Hazlewood Allstars new for the Park Stage join a line-up that already features more than a hundred acts and is still to add many more.

Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Dolly Parton, Pixies, Elbow, Jurassic 5, Mogwai, Disclosure, Jake Bugg and Bryan Ferry are just a handful of the musical highlights to look forward to at Glastonbury Festival 2014.
