The new round of acts announced today feature the dirty Brixton rock n rollers Fat White Family, Glaswegians The Amazing Snakeheads, BBC Sound 0f 2014 nominees Say Lou Lou and indie thinkers Glass Animals.

The 39 new acts also included The Wytches, John Wizards, Wolf Alice, MNEK, Factory Floor and avant-garde popster Merrill Garbus, as tUnE-yArDs.

Kate Tempest, Jessy Lanza, Melt Yourself Down, The Front Bottoms, Hockeysmith, Wild Smiles, Black Orange Juice, FTSE, Tourist, Sivu, God Damn, Happyness, Bo Saris, CongoPunQ, Indiana, The Bulletproof Bomb, and Bestival regulars The Correspondents will also feature on the 2014 line-up.

The 39 new bands join a Bestival bill that already features headline sets from Beck, Foals, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers and OutKast.

Rob da Bank commented: "So in our humble opinion these are the breaking acts of 2014 from the worlds of rock, indie, electronics and pretty much any genre - a delve inside the musical brain of Rob da Bank to find the ones to watch, the ones who'll make records you'll love this summer and the ones who'll make you dance ya socks off in September."

Bestival 2014 takes place from 4-7 September at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight.
