New acts announced for Latitude Festival 2014

American new wave star and lead lady to the Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde joins a weekend music programme in Suffolk that already features two stellar headliners in The Black Keys, Damon Albarn and Two Door Cinema Club. Hynde will release her debut solo album 'Stockholm' on June 9 in Europe.

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott of Beautiful South fame pair up for a set of hits, new and old, under the Obelisk Arena, where The Jayhawks will also perform. Asgeir and Augustines are the latest for the BBC Radio 6 Music stage, while the iArena welcomes Scottish hip-pop newcomers Young Fathers, Baltimore's Future Islands and fledging producer James Holden join its ranks.

Rhodes, Tycho, D.D Dumbo, Ady Suleiman, Glass Animals, Emilie Nicolas, Vaults, Solomon Grey, Years & Years, Elliphant, Childhood, MNEK, Syd Arthur and Danni Nicholls complete the new additions to the music stages.

Kevin Bridges, Late Night Gimp Fight, Pete Johansson, David Elms and Jonny & The Baptists join the Comedy Stage line-up.

Mark Lamarr returns to the Film & Music Arena with his God's Jukebox and presents Hollie Cook, Natty Bo & The Top Cats and Derriere.

Latitude Festival takes place from Thursday 17 - Sunday 20 July 2014 at its traditional home: Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk. The festival first took place in 2006 and has grown to a 35,000 capacity music and arts festival with more than 15 stages and arenas, playing host to over 500 live acts.

Latitude Festival ticket prices are as follows:

Weekend adult tickets £182.50 face value + £8.00 booking fee per ticket
Accompanied Teen Ticket (13-15 years) £132.50 face value + £8.00 booking fee per ticket
Weekend Child Ticket (5-12 years) £5.00 (no booking fee)
Campervan Permit £40/£60/£80 (depending on size)
