Are you registered for the festival? Registration closed at 5pm yesterday (Monday, 21 April) and won't open again until after all the resale tickets have been sold.

If you haven't registered with the festival by 5pm yesterday you may not get your registration confirmed in time to buy tickets. This is the same for everyone in your booking party so if you're hoping to book tickets for family and friends it's worth checking they're all registered and exchanging registration details as soon as possible.

Fans who have attended the festival in recent years may still be registered, but don’t just assume that you are, check first.

Simply fill in your surname and postcode into the following online form to find out.

Resale ticketing options and dates

A limited number of Glastonbury Festival tickets with coach travel packages will go on sale at 7pm this Thursday (April 24), starting from £229.50. 15,000 originally went on sale back in October last year so it's expected that the tickets available in the resale will be little more than 1,000.

Coach and festival ticket packages on sale at 7pm on 24 April will be limited to 2 tickets per transaction, to reflect the limited number of seats available per coach

Your lead booker will receive a single E-Ticket for your group’s coach travel in the week commencing Monday 12 May, which will include your final allocated coach number, departure times and exact pick up point. No physical coach tickets will be sent out to you in advance. Consequently the P&P charge for coach packages will be at the reduced rate of £1.50.

Glastonbury 2014 tickets are priced at £210 plus a £5 booking fee (with postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery charged at £7 per order) and the main resale date will be Sunday April 27 at 9am.

Originally 120,000 general release tickets went on sale and sold out in record time last year. The resale on Sunday April 27 is expected to be extremely popular and, even if more tickets are available than in the coach packages sale, demand is expected to easily outstrip supply.

Buying tickets this week in either resale release will have to pay the full price of the ticket upfront so, especially if you're buying for more than one person, make sure you have available funds in your bank account.

Those buying tickets will be able to book up to four tickets per transaction in the general ticket sale (Sun) this week and two tickets per transaction in the coach ticket resale (Thur). Everyone will need the registration numbers and registered postcodes for each person for whom they are booking a ticket.

Booking Glastonbury Tickets

There are two ways on buying Glastonbury resale tickets this week: online or by phone. SeeTickets are the only official vendor and you shouldn't buy tickets from any other ticket-seller.

There will be more tickets available online than sales operators on the phone lines.

Those booking on the Internet will be able to buy tickets from http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/gfl-worthy-view

Those hoping to buy over the phone must ring 0844 412 4635.

Calls to the Seetickets booking line and customer service centre are charged at a standard business rate. Calls are typically charged between 1p and 13p per minute for landline customers, depending on your service provider, and tend not to covered by inclusive minutes on landline and mobile tariffs. Calls from mobile phones will be significantly higher. Please note that with some service providers, you will incur a charge for engaged or unanswered calls, so please get the bill payer’s permission before you call.

Hundreds of thousands of people will be trying to buy tickets at the same time, so be patient. If you don’t get through right away, keep refreshing the page until you do. Using different IP addresses could increase your chances - try connecting your device to a different WIFI network or using your 3G connection on your mobile phone at the same time.

With fewer tickets available over the phone, your best bet is to multi-task between refreshing the Internet and trying the phone lines.

Please note that those booking tickets from the UK must pay by debit card - Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro Domestic or Solo. Credit cards will not be accepted. Debit card sales will be processed immediately in most cases and certainly within five working days of the sale being confirmed.

With passes expected to sell out in record fast time, make sure you have the URL pasted into your browser before the sale times so you can start refreshing the page when tickets go on sale.

Emily Eavis, in an interview with the NME last year, said additional measures had been put in place by ticket seller SeeTickets to ensure the purchasing process was more efficient than in previous years. She said: "We’ve got a new system which we’re trying out, and we’ve had assurance from See Tickets that it is going to work well and be much more efficient. All I can say is that we’ve done all that we can to try and make it as quick as possible and not have people hanging on phone lines for hours."

Martin Fitzgerald, Head of Business Development at SeeTickets, confirmed last year they have approximately 1,100,000 customers registered to go to Glastonbury and only 135,000 overall tickets to sell for the event.

All tickets purchased in the resale will be refundable up until 9 May.

Buying Tipis, Coaches and Car Parking Tickets

Car Parking and campervan/caravan tickets are £25 and £85 respectively. Campervan places are extremely limited at present and expected to sell out very quickly.

Car park and campervan tickets are only available to general admission ticket holders. It is not possible to purchase a car park or campervan ticket when booking or paying the balance for a coach package.

If you wish to bring a campervan to the Festival you must book your campervan ticket when paying your ticket balance.

Only campervans or caravans with fitted sleeping, and washing or cooking facilities will be allowed into the campervan field. Campervan tickets are available exclusively when paying your ticket balance. You will not receive a separate ticket for your campervan as it will be intrinsic to your ticket order. Consequently, campervan bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless you are cancelling your full order (before May).

The Tipi field is now sold out. Any cancelled bookings will be automatically placed back on sale, via glastonbury.seetickets.com.
