Londoner's Abhorrent Decimation sound more appealing than their name might suggest and have just come off tour with  Hour Of Penance and Murder Made God. They will be decimating the 'New Blood' stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2014, one of the first seven names announced to play the stage.

Other new additions to the stage include Slovenia's The Canyon Observer, Norway's Angerman, London's Brutai, Scotland's Scordatura and Phantom from Canada.

The agenda of the stage is to showcase grass-root talent, many bands play it without record deals or international festival slots under their belt. The bands announced today have all been chosen from CD applications the festival have received and many will join Bloodstock's 'Metal 2 The Masses' tour which kicks off on 10 May.
