20 new acts announced for Green Man 2014

Celt-rock star Mike Scott with his band The Waterboys will headline the Thursday night (Aug 14) of the festival, which returns to the Brecon Beacons for its 12th year. Whilst Philadelphia's The War On Drugs will headline the Far Out stage on the Saturday night.

Other new additions include Neko Case, Panda Bear, Other Lives, Sun Kil Moon, Jonathan Wilson, The 2 Bears, Mutual Benefit, Stanley Brinks, Woman’s Hour, Zachary Cale and Gareth Bonello.
My Sad Captains, Farao, Highasakite, Famy, Michael A Grammar, We Are Catchers and The May Birds also join the line-up today. Beirut, Neutral Milk Hotel, First Aid Kit, Anna Calvi, Daughter, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Polica, Sharon van Etten and Toy are among the many names already confirmed for the three day festival.

Green Man Festival 2014 returns to Glanusk Estate, near Crickhowell, Brecon Beacons, Wales from 15-18 August. The festival not only offers live music but live comedy, poetry, literature, art & science and lots of fun for those 12 and under, plus a separate area just for teens, spas, therapies, hot piping showers and local ale and cider sipping.

The Last Laugh comedy tent recently confirmed Josh Widdicombe, sketch troupe Pappy’s, Gemma Whelan, Jo Neary and Joe Lycett.
