Tim Jones to headline London's Hyde Park

Welsh soul rasper Sir Tom Jones is celebrating his 74th birthday this June and will be performing in London's Hyde Park a month later with all the 'Sexbomb' vigour you've come to expect from the singer.

Best known for hits like 'It's Not Unusual', 'What's New Pussycat' and 'Delilah', Jones has had 36 hit singles in the top 40, won countless awards and played his first Glastonbury Festival back in 1992.

He joins the three previously announced headliners for Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park this year: McBusted, Black Sabbath and Neil Young & Crazy Horse.


Boyzone, Little Mix, 10CC and The Bootleg Beatles have also been announced for the date with Sir Tom Jones, which is set for Sunday 13 July 2014.

The family-friendly day out will also boast children’s entertainment around the site, including Mr Men, Little Misses, Shaun the Sheep and Horrible Histories.

Barclaycard presents British Summer Time tickets are already on sale for the other three dates, priced as below. Tickets for Tom Jones on Sunday July 13 go on presage this Thursday (April 10) and general sale this Friday (11) at 9am.

Friday 4 July: Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Motorhead, Soulfly, Wolfmother and more - £69 plus £7.59 booking fee

Sunday 6 July: McBusted, Backstreet Boys, Scouting for Girls, Diversity, The Vamps, Lawson, 5ive and more - £49.50 plus £5.45 booking fee

Saturday 12 July: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The National, Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose, Lucy Rose and more - £60.00 plus £6.60 booking fee

Sunday 13 July: Sir Tom Jones, Boyzone, Little Mix, 10cc, The Bootleg Beatles and more - £35 plus booking fee. Child (6-16)    £20. 5’s and under go free. Family of 4: £90.
