Public Enemy to headline Secret Garden Party 2014

American hip hop grandaddies Public Enemy have been newly announced today to top the Secret Garden Party line-up for 2014. The New York collective first formed in 1982 and since then have sold countless albums, collecting gold or platinum records, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and are now regarded as one of the most influential rap act ever.

Joining them in Cambridgeshire this year will be Hercules & Love Affair, Foreign Beggars, King Charles, Alabama 3, Big Deal and Say Lou Lou.

Big Gigantic, Rae Morris, The Skints, Thumpers, Koven, John Fullbright, The Hics, Lxury, TCTS, Jacob Plant, Beans on Toast, Plump Djs and Too Many T's have also been added to the Secret Garden Party today.


Held annually at Mill Hill Field in Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire, Secret Garden Party this year takes place from 24 - 27 July. The festival has long held a reputation as being one of the wildest, experiential festivals in Europe and prides itself on not just its music programme but also arts and 'sight-seeing' activities.

The new additions today join a full spectrum of musical delights and wonders already headed to Secret Garden Party 2014. These include Little Dragon, Fat Freddys Drop, Clean Bandit, Foxes, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Jagwar Ma, Rosie Lowe, Wolf Alice and Sub Focus.

Secret Garden Party tickets are available now and priced at £175 plus a £5.50 booking fee for adults, £130 plus a £5 booking fee for teens (aged 13 - 17 years only). All teens and children 12 and under, who go free, must accompanied by a guardian over 21.
