Legendary American singer-songwriter Steve Earle, with his band the Dukes, will headline Friday (August 15) night at Beautiful Days 2014. Earle's recording career has spanned decades and during this time he's received fourteen nominations and three Grammy Awards. His breakthrough came with the 1986 album 'Guitar Town' and since then his music has travelled many continents and is well known for its use in film and TV, particularly on titles like The Wire, Brokeback Mountain, P.S. I Love You and You Can Count on Me.

Fellow American and bluesman Seasick Steve will headline Saturday night of Beautiful Days and festival founders, Brighton folk-rock band Levellers, will close the 2014 event on the Sunday night.

The festival will also see a rare UK performance from cult punks Dead Kennedys, now on at least their seventh touring line-up. Jamaican star Jimmy Cliff, The Undertones and German reggae ensemble SEEED have also been announced for the festival this August. Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Dreadzone, Culture Shock, Reverend & The Makers, Ruts DC and Public Service Broadcasting have been confirmed for the bill too, plus Easy Star All-Stars who perform their pastiche album 'Dub Side of the Moon'.

Beautiful Days 2014 takes place from 15-17 August at Escot Park, Devon. The greenfield site has six stages, site art, a children’s area, comedy, theatre, family camping, licensed real ale bars from Otter Brewery and a wide choice of food and craft stalls.

Beautiful Days tickets are on sale now, priced at £130 for a weekend camping ticket, subject to booking fee. Tickets for those aged 10-16 are priced at £60 and anyone 5-10 is £30. Tickets for anyone under five costs £5.
