Punk-pop trio Paramore, who last played second billing on the Main Stage in 2012 behind The Cure, return to the festival on the back of the success of 'Paramore', their fourth record released early last year. Joining Paramore as co-headliners on the Friday (Aug 22) in Reading and Saturday (23) in Leeds will be stoner-rock giants Queens Of The Stone Age. The Josh Homme fronted gang of rock n roll reprobates have already spent a year on the festival road, touring their critically acclaimed sixth studio record, '...Like Clockwork'.

Both co-headliners will make their only UK appearence of 2014 at Reading and Leeds, joined that day on the Main Stage by Vampire Weekend, Enter Shikari, Jimmy Eat World, Deaf Havana and Hacktivist.

Previously announced headliner Arctic Monkeys, who top Saturday in Reading and Sunday in Leeds, will be joined on the Main Stage bill by Jake Bugg, Imagine Dragons, Foster The People, The Hives and Peace, before more are added.

Finally the Sunday in Reading and Friday in Leeds will be headlined by Blink-182 with support roles from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, You Me At Six, A Day To Remember and Sleeping With Sirens.

Across the bill, literally dozens of new acts have been announced, including Jungle, The Fat White Family, Eagulls, Marmozets, Basement, Breach, David Rodigan MBE, Klaxons and letlive.

Plenty more are still to be announced, including many more names for the BBC Radio One Dance Stage,  BBC Radio 1xtra Stage and the Alternative Stage, which features the best in comedy and cabaret.
