The Black Keys to headline Latitude Festival 2014

Latitude announce Mogwai, Kelis and more

Headlining the final night on the Obelisk Arena will be The Black Keys, playing their first ever headline festival set in the UK. Ohio's favourite blues rock duo come complete with a seven album strong discography, including the 2011 smash 'El Camino' which spawned the hit singles 'Lonely Boy' and 'Gold On The Ceiling'.

Joining The Black Keys and the two previously announced headliners Two Door Cinema Club and Damon Albarn on the Obelisk Arena will be Editors, James, Crystal Fighters, Kelis, Tinariwen and The Afghan Whigs.


Under the cover of the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage you'll now find Mogwai, Lykke Li, James Vincent McMorrow, Clean Bandit, Temples and Bright Eyes man Conor Oberst.

The iArena will this year feature performances from Tom Vek, Teen, RY X, Daws, The Acid, John Wizards and Mighty Oaks.

Famed for its culture and literature section, Latitude Festival also boasts some top stand-up and comedy performers, this year these include Dara O'Briain, Milton Jones, Al Murray's Saloon Show, Josh Widdicombe, Tim Key, Josie Long, Seann Walsh, Miles Jupp, Doc Brown, Cardinal Burns and newcomer Liam Williams.

Propping up the literature corner at Latitude this year will be Jon Ronson, Lauren Beukes, Daniel Davis and Patrick Barkham, amongst others. Salon London this year present a string of names too, including Kerry Daynes, Jo Gemmings, Tristan Gooley, Lloyd Bradley, David Tony and David Spiegelhalter.


Under the theatre and dance umbrella you'll find the Royal Shakespeare Company, Forced Entertainment, Mark Thomas and both Sadler's Wells and Battersea Arts Centre presenting some top productions.

Luke Wright, Lemn Sissay, Dizraeli and Tim Clare all feature in the Poetry Arena and other highlights include Esben & The Witch performing a score La Antena and, in the late night space, Guilty Pleasures with a lush feast of golden pop nuggets.


Latitude Festival takes place from Thursday 17 - Sunday 20 July 2014 at its traditional home: Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk. The festival began in 2006 and has grown to a 35,000 capacity music and arts festival with more than 15 stages and arenas, playing host to over 500 live acts.

Tickets for the 2014 event are available now and Latitude has also launched a new £50 deposit scheme with putting down £50 now and paying the balance over the following three months at £46.83 each time for an adult ticket.

Latitude Festival ticket prices are as follows:

Weekend adult tickets £182.50 face value + £8.00 booking fee per ticket
Accompanied Teen Ticket (13-15 years) £132.50 face value + £8.00 booking fee per ticket
Weekend Child Ticket (5-12 years) £5.00 (no booking fee)
Campervan Permit £40/£60/£80 (depending on size)
